Ms. Rachael Elizabeth Israel's Obituary
Rachael Elizabeth Israel, 52, of Nashville, Tennessee, went home to be with God on Sunday, July 19, 2020. Born January 31, 1968 in Skokie, Illinois, she was the daughter of Dorothy Louise Brassard Wiegert and the late Arnold Edward Wiegert.
Rachael had a servant’s heart, she was kind and giving to everyone she met. The world was a better place because she was in it.
She was a Senior Living Advisor for Brookdale Senior Living. She also made her own jewelry and was a gifted writer who had an extraordinary way with words. As a Christian, her faith in the Lord was something she leaned on during times of trouble, including beating cancer three times.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her beloved aunt Marilyn Britt.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Louise Wiegert of Sarasota, FL; sisters Lisa Church and Debbie Norris of Terra Haute, IN, and Sheryl (Rod) Hays of Sarasota, FL; nephew Daron Hays and great nephew Christian Hays also of Sarasota, FL; her adopted family in Nashville, Hope Smith, Nicole Ussery, Betty Smith, and Sandra Jones; her family at Brookdale Senior Living and her church families at The Belmont Church, New River, Grace Center, and The Gate; and last, but not least, her fur baby ‘Gracie’.
She confidently trusts the Lord to take care of her. - Psalm 112:7
