Raymond Langston Hall, Jr., of Gallatin, TN passed away June 13, 2016. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Norma Kidd Hall.
He is survived by, Melody who brightened his life like the sun, Father; Raymond Langston Hall Sr., daughter; Sarah Hall, brother; Wade (Debra) Hall, sister; Geri (John) Rheinheimer, nephews; Jared Hall and Keith Sullivan III, Niece; Kailin Turner, and great-niece; Cora Turner.
To know Ray was to know a true savant; to know a Renaissance man. From his eloquent prose, to his grasp of iambic pentameter, to the simple art required of a fisherman, Ray was exceptional. An avid reader, a skilled tinkerer, Ray easily made friends, but none so great as his faithful companion; his dog, Matilda Hall. To those who knew him he was the light in the room, and you were blessed to have reveled in his light. His passion and love of life and the joy he brought to everyone around him will be sincerely missed.
