Mona worked for me about sixteen years at the VA. She was dependable, worked great with everyone and was a blessing to me. Her legacy will live on. She will be missed but I will see her again! Mona: Thanks for the memories.

"Mona" was very good to me when I 1st came to the VA at NA, TN in 2009. She was very kind . She could make you feel at ease in situations where she was instructing you on the "...way we do it here"... In the 1980's, having been in the Dept. of Surgery at the VA Long Beach CA., I needed some one who could "reaclaimate " me to the 21st Century VA. Mona was my "go to" person.
I told my wife, a professional baker, I need for you to make this women a cake! She has done so much for me! She loved it.
I truly missed seeing her at her old desk in the back hall way in the old Dept. setting. We'd kick around the Vandy sports talk that had occured since our last conversation.
Mona Weakley will truly be missed in this world.
