Mrs. Remona Walker Weakley's Obituary
Mrs. Remona Gail Walker Weakley, 63, a resident of Madison, died Saturday at Skyline Medical Center.
The Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee native was the daughter of Grace Marshall Walker and the late Clifton Garland Marshall. She was an administrative assistant in Surgical Services for the VA Hospital in Nashville and was involved in United States Coast Guard activities for many years. Mrs. Weakley was a member of the Martha Chapel United Methodist Church in Cunningham. She enjoyed bowling, Vanderbilt football, the St. Louis Cardinals and travelling especially Mobile, Alabama and New York City. She loved life and lived every day to the fullest.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert L. Weakley; a son, Christopher Garland (Sara) Weakley; a sister, Debbie Mason; two brothers, Doug Walker and Terry Walker; a grandson, Alexander Daniel Weakley; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dina Walker.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 11:00AM until 2:00PM at the Martha's Chapel United Methodist Church, 3400 Martha's Chapel Road, Cunningham, Tennessee 37052. Arrangements have been entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, Nashville, 615-865-1101.
