Jan and I want to express our condolences to Opal and the rest of the family. Though we were with 11th Street only a brief time, Gene was a good friend and willing partner in the Lord's work. Playing golf with him and Hoyt was great fun for a young man of only 22 or 23. We enjoyed playing softball and going out to eat at Western Sizzlin' after Sunday night church. Those days are now gone forever, but the memories still live. Thank you for all the love shown to us. We celebrate the life of Gene Harper and rejoice that he has received the goal of his faith, and is now face to face with Jesus.
