I took him home from the hospital a few times and grew to love him!!!! Tom Tomerlim
I always enjoyed my conversations with Bob when he would stop by the office at Skyline. Generally we talked about the Preds and there was always something about his Chicago Cubs! You will be missed my friend! Prayers of comfort to Mary and the family.
It is with sorrow that we heard of Bob's passing. We have known Bob and Mary for many, many years. Bob did not tell us how to live; He lived and let the rest of us watch his life. We are praying for Mary and all the family during this loss. We still have this hope that the Lord will come very soon. May God bless you all.

We have known Bob and his wife Mary for many years. He has always been a quiet person, but willing to be involved in things that make a difference for people , his church and his community. Will miss Bob, especially his leadership on the Business and Professional Foundation Board . May the Lord sustain Mary and her family during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Bob's death. I always enjoyed his visits to Oglethorpe. Such a wonderful and pleasant man of God. We will be praying for comfort, peach and blessings for Ms. Mary and all of Mr. Bob's family. May God bless you all.
Mr. Bob was very sweet and would always ask how things were going with life and school. One time when I was at Southern, he asked how I liked the food in the cafeteria. I replied that it was good but I wished they had more salad dressing options. My favorite was Thousand Island but they only served Ranch and Italian. He got an interesting look on his face and asked a few more questions about the food. We talked a bit more about school and such and I forgot about the salad dressing conversation. A few weeks later at Southern, they had Thousand Island dressing at the cafeteria! The next time I saw Mr. Bob, he asked me how the dressing was at the cafeteria. I responded that they now served Thousand Island and I asked if he had anything to do with the sudden change...he just smiled. He never admitted to it but I think he did. He could make things happen.
Praying for your family,
