RIP my friend. Vols, Colts, Preds, Braves (Cubbies & Harry). Much love!
Cousin Bobby will always hold a special place in my heart. From his wonderful fourth of July parties that I so looked forward to each year growing up (we even survived playing the original lawn darts) to Christmas Eve at Mammaw's house, Cousin Bobby was always there at all of our family events and a joy to be around. His love for family and football were always present and made him so approachable and a joy to talk to. He was always so loving and caring for his family and so generous and thoughtful to always think of everyone including my own kids when it was a birthday or Christmas. Bobby had a way of making everyone feel special. I feel like he made everyone around him a better person for his kindness and joy that he shared. Cousin Bobby, you will never be forgotten as your spirit lives in our hearts, and we will see you again one day in our eternal home.
Bobby was our first cousin, but he was like a brother to my sister, Brenda, and me. He delivered the Valedictorian address, in the rain, at East High School in 1954. He loved his family and country and enjoyed hosting us on the 4th of July🇺🇸 He loved traveling, especially by train, and treated his family to Christmas on the General Jackson many times. He loved sports and politics and was an inspiration to us. We loved him so much and will miss him dearly.

Uncle Bobby loved his nieces and nephews and was always so proud of us. As a kid, I looked forward to his visits because he always paid attention to me and always had a gift (usually a fun toy). He never forgot a birthday and always celebrated my accomplishments. He was thoughtful and kind. He will be missed!

Bobby loved Tennessee football. He hated Alabama and always wanted to see Tennessee beat them. Even when we were small he would listen to the game on the radio and jump up and down on the bed when Tennessee would score.
Bobby sent Christmas and birthday gifts to all his nieces and nephews until they were grown. He never forgot any of the children.
He did enjoy playing poker with his family. He was the luckiest player. He liked games with a lot of wildcards.
Bobby was very healthy and went to the gym three days a week. He was actually put on the gym website an example of how exercise works to keep you healthy and age well. He was 88 when he was on the website.
Bobby never said a bad word about anyone. He was concerned about politics and very conservative.
We all loved Bobby. He will be remembered and missed.
