Mrs. Sarah Louise Halliburton Estes PhD's Obituary
Sarah Louise Halliburton Estes PhD, 80, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 in Ashland City, Tennessee. Born April 2, 1941 in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Hunt Halliburton, Sr. and Vinita Ellis Halliburton.
She was a friend to all animals. During her teaching career she taught English at Pearl Cohn High School, McGavock High School and Vanderbilt University.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Scott Estes; brother Alfred Hunt Halliburton, Jr.; sister Elizabeth Oxford.
She is survived by her daughter Judith Kimberly Estes.
A graveside service will take place on Thursday, October 7, at 11 AM in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville. Anyone planning to attend needs to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 AM.
