Mr. Theron S. Hunter's Obituary
Theron S. Hunter, 92, died March 26, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife Loraine, and brothers Bedford and Frank and nephew Steve Hunter. He is survived by one brother Howard (Mattie), sister in-law Frieda Hunter, and nephews and nieces: Diane Evans, Gail Collins, David Hunter, Linda Gregory, Jenny Autrey, and Jamie Hunter. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific theater, Australia, and the Philippines.
He graduated from George Peabody College with a degree in accounting. He worked for several firms and finished his career with Educators Credit Union.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crieve Hall Church of Christ Missions Fund located in Nashville.
Officiating the service will be David Hunter, and David Gregory.
Services will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Pike S. in Nashville. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 29, from 10 am until Noon at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Ceremony will be conducted from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home.
