I'm just so sad to see this. And so sad that I am so late to discover "Uncle Tommy" has passed away. (I searched in hopes this was not why I had not seen him in a while.) He was a special and loving person and I am blessed to have known him. We always enjoyed visiting at art shows when I was there in Nashville. I will always miss seeing him.
I just found out that our beloved Tommy passed on. I moved to Houston almost two years ago and I'm ashamed that I didn't keep in closer contact with Tommy. Such a loving and extraordinary human being. He was beloved by my late wife, Jonni, and me and Tommy was there for me when she passed in 2017. Tommy had more faith than any other human being I've ever met and I know that he is sitting at the right hand of God, right next to my beloved Jonni. They were good buddies and now they can pick up the conversation where they left off. I woke up in the middle of the night last night, thinking about Tommy and wondering how he was doing. Then I got a really sick feeling and I just knew that we had lost our wonderful friend. Sending you love and hugs, Tommy.

Today we pause in tribute to our dear friend and co-worker, Tommy Quinn. Always an example of hope and faith,Tommy inspired all of us. We will miss his smile, his stories and his love and compassion toward others.

I will miss my friend. He was an inspiration to his buddy (my husband) and me. He walked beside me before, during and after Larry's transitioning. Thank you, Tommy, for loving us well.
I have known Tommy for more years than I can remember and am saddened to hear of his passing. Tommy was the most delightful and upbeat human being on this earth and had a kind word for all. He was always looking for ways to make others have a better day when he was fighting each day for his own life. I will miss his stories, his humor, his lust for life and know that the world is a better place for having him in it. I will think of you often and know that God put you on this earth for a reason and, for reasons we do not know or understand, has taken you away from us. We will all think of your bright smile and know that you are at peace.

Tommy was a dear friend of mine and The Upper Room Museum since the early 1980's. The Christian art world, and art world in general, has lost a treasure. He often visited The Upper Room Chapel for prayer and would come by the museum to chat and share prayers. If you ever visited the museum and saw the beautiful Boehm porcelain nativity scene you can thank Tommy. Tommy I will miss you but I know heaven is buzzing in joy with your arrival.
Uncle Tommy (as we called him) became a beloved, honorary member of our bible study group Houston Prayer Warriors. We all just adored him and looked so forward to his visits to Houston as he was truly a living example of the love of Jesus. He never met a stranger and was a blessing to all lucky enough to meet him. He will be greatly missed but thought of and remembered so often and always with a smile. I can only imagine the party they are having in heaven for his homecoming!! Heaven just got a whole lot brighter!! Rest In Peace dear friend.
