I am sorry that I was not able to attend due to health problems but I wanted to leave a few thoughts. I am not afraid to admit that I loved Ray as a brother in arms. Ray and I attended the same police academy in 1977 and worked together on the same detail. Ray was not afraid to stand shoulder to shoulder with you no matter the situation. He was also one that was not afraid to speak his mind and sometimes paid the consequences for it but that didn't stop him.
I have so many fond memories of Ray that not just one stands out. He was proud of his family and was devoted to his love, Christy.
Rest easy Ray, God Bless and may our prayers be with the family in their time of loss.
