Mr. Vester Ray Walden's Obituary
Vester Ray Walden, Sr. age 73 of Nashville passed away Wednesday March 2, 2016. A native of Dekalb County, he was the son of the late Vester and Frances Trapp Walden. He is also preceded in death by his wife; Christy Jo Walden.
Mr. Walden is survived by his son; Vester Ray Walden, Jr., sisters; Gale (Charles) Porter, Cindy Walden Guthoerl, and two brothers; Virgil (Brenda) Walden and Kenneth Walden.
Mr. Walden was retired from the Metro Police Department after 25 years of service and was a United States Navy Veteran.
Visitation will be Friday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 12:00 noon Saturday with visiting one hour prior at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
