Marshall Elizer
Wes was my cousin, one year younger than me. We saw each other often growing up, usually at Binkley family gatherings and spending the night at each other's houses. I remember us getting in trouble at Aunt Hemmie's house one sleepover after we stuck numerous pencils in the ceiling for fun and decoration (Wes's idea, not mine). Occasionally we got to stay over at Aunt Julia's house to play with Gayle and Lynn, and those were some really fun times too. We never saw each other very much after elementary school as high school and life paths took us in separate directions.
Wes was a kind, gentle, quiet and smart man, a bit eccentric but that suited who he was. He loved his cat, like I do mine. His life was difficult in his final years, so thank goodness he had the loving and constant support of cousins Marge and Bobbie, and Bobbie's daughter Ellen. They were his family for many years.
May God bless your soul Wes, rest in peace. And say hi to Aunt Hemmie, Barry and Uncle John. Marshall
