Wesley John Moore's Obituary
Wesley John Moore, age 72, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, at Lakeshore/The Meadows in Nashville, TN. Born August 28, 1953, to John B. Moore, Jr. and Thelma Binkley Moore. Wesley was a proud graduate of David Lipscomb High School and University. His profession was performing security for various local hospitals and universities. Wesley was known for his kindness to others and dedication to his profession. He was knowledgeable of American history, collecting primitive antiques and sharing his knowledge as docent at Cheekwood in Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by parents John and Thelma, and brother, Barry Wendell Moore. Wesley is survived by cousins, Barbara Reynolds, Marge Crabtree, Marshall Elizer, Jr., Ann Sullivan, Elmer Thomas, Jr., Don Thomas, Ken Barnes, and Stan Mitchell.
Graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 11 am at Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alive Hospice in Wesley's memory.
