Bill was such a pleasant person to be around. We used to have long and enjoyable conversations while he was on the news desk at WKRN News 2. We shared the beauty of Old Hickory Lake. Davis Nolan
Susan, David and family, I am so sorry I will not make it down to the memorial service and so sorry to hear about Billy. His picture, he makes me think of your Dad. I remember our days growing up together at Kern and going down to your Dad and Mom's store. You guys are in my prayers, Diane [Lewis] and Fred Wetmore
I attended APSU with Bill and David. Bill was always the gentleman and friendly. Sorry for your loss. May you know His peace as you celebrate Bill's life. Brenda Oldham
Saddened by the loss of a really great guy. His smiling face will always be etched on my memory of the days at APSU. Sorry about your little brother, Dave. Larry Richardson
I worked with Bill for a crazy six months in the Press Office of Jake Butcher's run for Governor. He was a professional but still a fun guy. I'm sorry he left us too soon but he'll always have a sunny place in my memory.
