Mr. William P. "Bill" Walker Jr.'s Obituary
William P. Walker, Jr. (Bill) age 71, passed away on February 3, 2016 at his home in Springfield, TN. He was born in Nashville, TN on August 14, 1944. Preceded in death by parents William P. Walker, Sr. and Mamie Rutledge Walker; brother Rickie Walker; daughter Denise Walker Milnar and sister-in-law Carolyn Todd. He is survived by wife Mary Beth Walker; sons Billy (Emily) Walker and Josh (Michelle) Walker; sister Judy (Jay) Rowles; son-in-law Derek Milnar; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; stepdaughters Judy (Norman) Buck and Patty Blair; brother-in-law David Todd; father and mother-in-law Dr. Paul and Mrs. Joanna Todd.
He worked with Wallboard and Supply for 25 years and Lowes for 15 years. Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, working in his flower gardens, antique cars and riding his Harley.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016, 12:00 noon at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Donnie Bryant officiating. Entombment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Billy Walker, Josh Walker, Ryan Milnar, Jonathon Milnar, Jacob Walker, Derek Milnar, and Zak Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be Hayden Walker, Chad Mack, Butch Watson, Paul Davis, Ken Gordon, David Thomas, and Ronnie Maule. Visitation will be Friday 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216, 615-865-1101.
