Oh I will forever miss this sweet lady. I was first introduced to Mrs. Crook when I was in high school via Bret. Fourteen years ago my husband David, my two girls and I moved two doors down from the Crooks. I still miss Charles waving in the front yard every time I passed their home. Now, I miss the sound of Mrs. Crook yelling Bret's name out the back door. :-)
Winn is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever had the privilege of knowing. It was an honor to know her and Charles, once again the two are together. Their childhood love store is an inspiration to all. Rest in Peace my sweet neighbor and friend. My deepest sympathy to Bret and his two sisters.
